Tribute to Her Majesty the Queen

On behalf of the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers, I would like to express our sincere condolences to His Majesty The King and The Royal Family following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She was a person loved by so many, a strong woman of faith, an incredibly calm leader in a changing and challenging world, who served until the end.

ALPSP is exciting to be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2022 and we are planning a range of activities throughout the year. Find out how you can get involved. As part of our anniversary celebrations, we have created a visual narrative about people, technology, collaborations, communication channels and events in a timeline spanning 50 years.

ALPSP is the international trade association which supports and represents not-for-profit organizations that publish scholarly and professional content, and those that work with them. Membership of ALPSP is for the whole organization so all employees can take advantage of the benefits. ALPSP has nearly 300 member organizations across 30 countries.

The association provides a forum in which to share information and knowledge, and engage in open discussion on the challenges and opportunities facing publishing. We encourage members to get involved through serving on our council, committees and working groups. To find out more about ALPSP, download our booklet or contact us.
