We have a brand new Commissioning Editor role which is perfect for someone seeking a role with a mission-driven company aiming to make a real difference! Our client is am international not-for-profit publisher of books and research centred on environmental sciences and sustainability, working towards reducing poverty and hunger, achieving equality, climate action, and many other crucial goals.

As the new Commissioning Editor, you will be:

  • Developing a list of books, e-books and case studies across life sciences and environmental studies
  • Taking overall responsibility for book projects from inception to publication
  • Actively commissioning case studies for a new database initiative
  • Contributing to the overall strategy of the publishing programme
  • Travelling to attend relevant conferences and other networking events

This role requires a solid background in life sciences and STM book commissioning, as well as the ability to network and form positive relationships with the field.
